Drive Mode Select

Tailor your driving experience by adjusting steering weight, throttle pedal responses, and – for models equipped with dual-clutch transmissions – gear shift responses. Choose Normal mode for relaxed efficiency and fuel efficiency, or Sport mode for enhanced response and excitement. Available on DCT models only.

Advanced acoustics and suspension

Experience a new level of smoothness, peace and quiet. By reducing road noise absorption in the body, adding extra insulation to the floor, and having quiet wheels, the new Kia XCeed tunes noise out for you. We have also tuned the exhaust for smoothness and optimised the suspension with new hydraulic rebound stoppers.

Advanced easy loading

Smart Power Tailgate technology makes it easy to load your bags and belongings even when you have your hands full. The boot lid opens automatically when you approach the rear of the car with the key in your pocket or bag. Plus, the back seats split and fold in a 40:20:40 configuration to boost the boot’s capacity to up to 1,378 litres. Available on the GT-Line S only.

Warns you about vehicles in blind spots and intervenes if necessary.

The Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist (BCA) system uses its windshield camera and rear corner radars to monitor the relative position and speed of other vehicles to the side or in your blind-spot zone. If it identifies a potential collision, the system will activate visual and audible alarms, and may even automatically intervene to keep you in your current lane and avoid danger. Available in the GT-Line S only.

Warns you of obstacles while reversing, and intervenes if needed.

When reversing out of a parking space or driveway, the radar-based Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist (RCCA) system warns you with visual and audible alarms about any approaching traffic potentially crossing your path – and engages to avoid a potential collision when necessary. Available on the GT-Line S only.

Avoid potential hazards for you and pedestrians

Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) with pedestrian warning 7 uses radar and camera inputs to warn of pedestrians, cyclists and cars in your path. It gives you warning signals and automatically brakes if you don’t react, helping to prevent or mitigate an accident.

(3) Kia Connect On-Board Services
Information and control service for your Kia from your smartphone; the Services are available free of charge for a period of seven years commencing on the day the vehicle is sold to the first owner of the vehicle, i.e. the point in time the initial purchase agreement becomes effective, and may be subject to change during that period. Details of operation and terms of use can be obtained on your Kia App. Smartphone with iOS or Android operating system and mobile phone contract with data option necessary incurring additional cost.

(4) Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay™
The Kia XCeed is compatible with Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™. Android Auto™ is designed to work with Android phones running 5.0 (Lollipop) or higher. Apple CarPlay™ is available for iPhone 5 or newer models. Both systems feature voice control and allow the driver to keep their hands on the wheel and eyes on the road ahead at all times. Apple CarPlay™ is a trademark of Apple Inc. Android Auto™ and other marks are trademarks of Google Inc.

(5) Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist
Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) is an assistance system and does not relieve the driver from their responsibility to safely operate the vehicle at any time. The driver still has to adapt their driving behaviour to their personal driving capabilities, to the legal requirements and to the overall road and traffic conditions. FCA is not designed to drive the vehicle autonomously. For further information, please refer to the owner’s manual.

(6) Lane Following Assist
Lane Following Assist (LFA) is available only for models with a DCT gearbox.

(7) Wireless Phone Charging System
Wireless charging compatible with phones featuring Qi technology or adapter.

(8) Kia Connect Services
Kia Connect Services are provided by Kia Connect GmbH, registered under the registration number HRB 112541, Theodor-Heuss-Allee 11, 60486 Frankfurt am Main.

(8.1) Free 7-year Kia Connect services
The Services are provided free of charge for a period of 7 years commencing on the day the vehicle is sold to the first owner of the vehicle, i.e. the point in time the initial purchase agreement becomes effective. (8.2) Over-the-Air updates
For new vehicles sold from May 2021, Kia offers, per vehicle, two free-of-charge updates of the maps in the vehicle’s navigation system and of the Head Unit software using the so-called “over-the-air” method (“OTA Updates”). Once the two free-of-charge OTA Updates have been consumed, you will be able to get updates of the maps in the vehicle’s navigation system and of the Head Unit software only (i) by accessing the following web page https://update.kia.com/EU/E1/Main or (ii) at a dealership.
