7-year Kia manufacturer’s warranty
Max. 150,000 km vehicle warranty. Deviations in accordance with the applicable warranty conditions, including battery, paint and equipment.
The high-voltage lithium-ion battery units in Kia’s electric vehicles (EV), hybrid electric vehicles (HEV) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) are designed to last a long time. These batteries are covered by the Kia warranty for a period of 8 years from first registration or 160,000 km of mileage, whichever comes first. For low-voltage batteries (48 V and 12 V) in mild hybrid electric vehicles (MHEV), the Kia warranty is valid for a period of 2 years from the date of first registration, regardless of the mileage. Only for electric vehicles (EV) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs), Kia guarantees a battery capacity of 70%. The reduction in battery capacity in HEV and MHEV vehicles is not covered by the warranty. How you can counteract a possible reduction in capacity, please refer to the operating instructions. Panoramic glass roof
The optional panoramic glass roof is only available for selected trim levels. Availability and specifications may vary by market.
Safety
The use of assistance and safety systems does not release the employee from the obligation to constantly monitor traffic and check vehicles. Some of the systems listed here are not available according to the selected equipment line, are available at an additional cost or as standard.
Range
The actual range depends on many factors, such as the prevailing outside temperature, battery condition and state of charge of the battery at the start of the charge, as well as battery age, vehicle condition and payload. The range was determined according to the prescribed EU measurement procedure. The individual driving style, speed, outside temperature, topography and use of electrical consumers have an influence on the actual range and may reduce it.
Kia Digital Key
Digital Key 2.0 requires a compatible smartphone with ultra-wideband (UWB) technology. Despite careful development and safeguarding, it cannot be ruled out that technical malfunctions or unexpected malfunctions may occur. In rare cases, this can lead to vehicle functions being unintentionally triggered, such as unlocking the doors or unauthorized access to the vehicle.
Over-the-air updates
A service of Kia Connect GmbH. Information and control service for your Kia; Smartphone with iOS or Android operating system and mobile phone contract with data option that incurs additional costs required. Details of how it works and terms of use can be found at the Kia dealer and on kia.com. The content of the Services may be subject to changes during the Term. At the end of the free trial period, the services can be renewed for a fee via the Kia Connect Store. For more information, contact your Kia dealer.
Kia Connect Services
The Kia Connect Services are provided by Kia Connect GmbH – registered under the registration number HRB 112541, Theodor-Heuss-Allee 11, 60486 Frankfurt am Main.
The Services will be provided free of charge for a period of 7 years, starting from the date of sale of the vehicle to the first owner, i.e. the date on which the original purchase contract comes into force. This service is only available to users who have activated Kia Connect services in the vehicle.
